Adfam is a national charity working to help and better the life for families who are affected by alcohol and drugs. Here at Adfam, we desire to provide help for persons influenced by someone else's alcohol or drug abuse, and also give them a chance to be a part of a supportive community and to enjoy mental and bodily well being.
Family relations and happiness can be threatened and even shatter completely due to alcohol and drug abuse.
To prevent this from happening, we encourage family members and caretakers, reassure frontline workers and impact those that make decisions.
What We Value
We are glad to hear family members and frontline workers. People who have experienced these type of problems most likely can provide some solutions. So, we use compassion and evidence to inform, encourage and empower persons influenced by a loved one's substance abuse as well as the workers who help them. So that both groups can help themselves, their peers, communities and clients, we build skills, confidence, pathways and resources.
We Are Inspired By What Works
The influence of both drug and alcohol abuse on family harmony is intense and diverse. We put lots of care and focus on our work as we tend to use most effective methods for the real world. We've designed programs that allows individuals and institutions the opportunity for making informed choices also encourage them to drop bad habits to health and wellness progress. We depend upon the support of friends and associates for guidance and direction.
